Thats Cooper's forte playing to the strengths of the resources available.....

I think he will end up doing very well. The one that got away.

That was Potter for me. We looked on the cusp of something special when he upped sticks. But Coops will do well, no doubt.

But for whatever reason he made it clear that he wanted to leave. He wasn’t fired.

He sort after a Striker and it seems he was promised funds to get one in, but yanks pulled the plug as they did with Martin this January, his interest weened off and that was that, ambitious young manger let down, by the clubs owners, which soured the relationship and he knew he wouldn't get the support in the summer as well, it seems clear now that he set us up to play the way we did with the players he had, better players better performances better rewards, Forest were bottom when he went there, remarkable turn around.

I hated his Football style, but it seems quite clear now that it was a case of horses for courses.
Agree.
It was clear at Wembley he had given up and that transmitted to the players on the day.
Personally will never forgive him for that.
We had beaten Watford and Norwich and drawn with Brentford only a couple of months earlier.
Those players didn't suddenly become bad.

Agreed.

Martin being the wrong appointment (which it's looking like) doesn't mean letting Cooper leave was a mistake.
