Six clean sheets on the bounce for Preston and no goals conceded this season.

Got plenty of abuse here but surely would be a better shout than Fisher?

Wonder how much he cost Preston

A stickman would be a better option than Fisher, never mind Woodman.

Fisher is an awful 'keeper. Great statue, though.

I notice the second goal he made a great attempt to save.

If a great attempt is just stand at your near post and hope for the best.

Freddie had lots of clean sheets for us. However he was rubbish in some people's eyes.

Didn't he win the golden glove with us 1 season ? But as you say he was rubbish for us, so was Cooper apparently, played bland boring football, hardly conceded any goals and was lucky he had Ayew. Thank goodness we have improved with our next manager after Cooper.

I was always a defender of Woodman’s. Sure he could have his dodgy moments like any keeper but he was excellent for this level. Should be back here and not at PNE.

Took a massive pay cut and asked for the move. He didn't want to sit on the bench and collect his wages for nothing. Top man.

Let's not rewrite history because Martin is looking to be a complete failure here. We did play boring football under Cooper and although he won a lot more games than Russell seems capable of, we're still in the same division we were when he joined us. We spent a lot of money on loan signings, which ultimately brought us no tangible success and no financial reward. Perhaps if the board had backed Cooper financially a bit more, we could have gone up, but that's in the past now.

Agree with you on Woodman though. We have some fans who will always complain about our keepers (De Vries not good enough for League 1 remains a Planet Swans classic for the old-timers to remember) for some reason.

I’ve just seen yesterday’s goals for the first time. Fisher didn’t move an inch for either. Apart from to wave his arms after the ball was in the net as if to say “what happened there then?”
