• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Luke says we’ve identified some free agents who could come here.

Fosu Mensa the obvious one that has been talked about, but if Ryan Kent doesn’t move I’d be trying for him he’d be a great get for us.

Ideally we need a player who has been playing this season. We can't have another Christie. He still looks bloated
Not sure why. I was all for Christie rejoining, as I liked him when he was with us, first time round. But he is league one at best now. We Can debate that we shouldn't have to be looking in free agents market, but no issue if it's a player who is fit and want it. OBrien is proof that a player who hasn't played much he can bring to a team if fight is there.

Comes to something when Naughton looks in better shape and a better player than Chrstie. Don't know why the heck we signed him. Another one that has helped the opposition more than his own team since coming back. Credit due to Naughton, still looks in good physical condition.

Christie is 32, the two players mentioned are 27 and 28. Not sure we'd offer them the money though, so probably non starters.

As poster said above. Naughton is much older and around 36 and did better. Granted he isn't perfect and has more off moments than on, but Christie could learn a bit from being more fit.

with the shocking last window now closed and the manager saying we have identified some " free" players that could hjelp come on Mr Chairman give us a bit of the promised action that did not happen in the window and bring in the guys that Mr Williams says could help as we need them yesterday not the end of the month!!!!!

I’ll be surprised if we sign any free agents up, l just don’t see us doing it, Williams can say what he likes, it’s not down to him

Bolasie and Christie should make us think twice before signing any free agents. If a player is without a club at this point in the season, there's probably some very good reasons for that.

It's unlikely that anyone out there will make the difference between staying up or being relegated, so what's the point in signing them? Waste of money when you could give a young player minutes instead.
