• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We missed an opportunity with Cullen - he shone for Wales and was on a run at club level - we might have got good coin for him, at that stage.

Fulton has been a good club man but I can't forgive him for that reckless and unnecessary red card against Brentford in the play-off final
I don't like Fulton and yes it was stupid, but only one person was responsible for that debacle, and that was Cooper.

A lot of our fans took a lot of risk and endured a lot of difficulty to be there that day with COVID restrictions still in place. And he wasted everybody's time and money by setting us up to fail, as he always seemed to do against Brentford.

For me, it was up there with Carvalhal v Southampton as one of the most pathetic and cowardly team setups a Swansea manager has ever put on a pitch for a crucial game.

Here are 2 guys that are bench options to chase or save a game. Much maligned but both have shown a level of ability at different times.
Crux for us - is we have improved to the point where these players are not threatening the starting XI any more.
Of course this speaks to a different problem - an improved but massively under performing squad.
I can't think of one single game that Fulton has come on and saved. I said before that Fulton would be Sheehan's Achilles heel. When a manager holds onto a player simply because he's got a professional attitude, and he's great in training, then that's the beginning of the end for anyone.

Jay Fulton needs to be moved on our his contract ripped up, he's been stealing a living from us for the last few years.

Cullen has glimpses now and again, another one we need to move off the wage bill which would have happened a while back if he was originally signed from Lincoln City.

Totally agree with the thread especially Cullen. Nowhere near good enough to play championship football, ok he pops up and scores the odd goal, but overall a league 2 player league 1 at best
