Cooper failed in two playoffs which is ,to me anyway, failure .
We might never have better chances again .
When he left ,I shed no tears ,and like all fans looked forward to how his replacement fared in taking us forward ,maybe even to the next level ( upwards).
Martin from the start exuded confidence and / or arrogance that saw him leave Piroe ,our only striker ,at home for the first away game. Cullen played midfield that game. Time to feel unwary or at least rather concerned .
We are no better,no further down the road back to the Premier League which I read is the owners plan. After abject performances that see us do exactly the wrong things at the right time for the opposition means ,to me,we have a real issue with Martin, given that he “ isn’t going anywhere” and that we cannot @ford to sack him.His support from some is bordering on fanaticism and with no justification whatsoever . We have won nothing nor even looked like it.
Young players have been sent out on loan because Martin doesn’t like them. It’s That simple. Whittaker’s treatment is bordering on pure vindictiveness? If there is a logic for Martin in this regard,it makes matters worse as Whittaker is quick and can score,as he did at Plymouth ,so why not play him from the start and induce some speed into our game.
I’m not really keen on the chap but he is certainly intelligent ,far too much so for many .
