Has he regressed as badly as it seems? I recognise he's not match fit but it really seems like injuries have finally taken its toll and looks a shadow of the player Wales had a few years back. Hoping he can regain the form from a few years ago.

Recent games for Wales have been below par too...

not exactly "earning" his £500,000 (or whatever) a week salary eh!

Rodon will prove to be a much better signing for Spurs in the last window.

Really sad to see his demise not that his bank balance will suffer. Hoping he can bounce back this season but feel he is a busted flush

Will be interesting to see what more regular football can do - I think he can still do a decent job but he does need to be playing week in week out IMO

Lack of match fitness hasn't helped him on top of his injuries. He needed to have moved from Real Madrid last year. I do agree, looks a shadow of the player he was a couple of years ago. Last top game he had was against Hungary.

Saying that, they didn't do much better when they did the 5 subs and Antwerp missed two sitters to make it 3-0 in the 2nd half.
Antwerp were very well organised and didn't get the plaudits they deserved tonight.

Biggest asset to his game was pace and he looks like he has lost not only one yard, but two yards of pace. He reminds me of a similar decline to Fernando Torres when he lost that yard of pace the goals dried up. He is my prediction for flop of the season, i think he's regressed that badly.
