Started for Spurs this evening, having very little impact on the game, looks half the player he was at his best.

Bale doesn't work with Son up front.. Mouriniho has addressed it at half time. Bale always looks half hearted effort with Spurs no real shift put in really

Hooked after an hour, whether it's physical or mental he just doesn't seem willing to sprint.
He just jogs around, none of the explosive pace & power he used to have.
Don't care about Spurs but it's a real shame for Wales.

Bale might have lost some of his pace and become injury prone similar to what happened to Michael Owen, I would still put him in the starting line up for a big game such as a cup final though

You don't sprint around a golf course mun, he's probably wondering what all the fuss is about.

It looks like he has lost confidence in his body. Michael Owen was exactly the same after similar injuries.

He us a player that relied on powerful sprints and he keeps pulling and tearing his hamstrings so he's reluctant to try them.

That's him done as that sort of player. I'm not really sure what he has left to play for.

The problem for me is that if he is fit to play then unfortunately he will be first name on the team sheet for Wales.

I just don't think he has anything about him anymore & is a passenger in the team for the most part.

IMO Bale has been pretty poor for Wales since the Euros but I thought it was done to trying to do too much and not having the same quality around him as at club level but maybe injury, expectation and creeping fatigue have taken their toll!

Or maybe clearing 1.5 million every month tempers his enthusiasm.

It helps in finding form for your manager to actually play you. Mourinho will claim he wasn't fit up to now or some other nonsense to mask the fact that he's far too defensive to have Bale, Kane and Son all on the pitch at the same time until he was forced to try it.

If it means he go's to the Euros in form and having effectively only played half a season's worth of football, then us Wales fans will owe Jose a thank you. I wouldn't be so happy if I was a Spurs fan.
