• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Swansea captain Matt Grimes has said that the week’s training the squad has had will allow Monday night to showcase the best version of the Swans as the side go in search of a first league win on the road in seven attempts. The Swans have had a week to stop and reflect on the […]

Yap yap yap.

Piss off is it. Do it and there’s no need to say it, and we’ve heard it a million times before. So whatever shit you churn out on Monday is the best we can hope for then? I hope someone reminds you of that on Tuesday if it goes the way it probably will.

The best version of something underwhelming, is something underwhelming.

I still have no real idea of what the ‘perfect’ version of Martinball is. As Dr W said the other day, we don’t play out from the back, we pass it around the back, until we lose it.

Leaving aside that Cardiff WUM shitmuncher (more likely an alter ego of one of ours on a sad brainless WUM I suppose), there is a lot of truth in that we will play right into their hands in April as they sit back but challenge hard in their own half and look to break very fast with numbers and pace when they win the ball. That could be Martin’s Waterloo.

   Laughable isn't it.

I like the line from Matty. ''The training has given us reminders of how we want to play. '' So is it that you've forgotten it when you take the pitch. Or do you mean we want to play a certain way but we are not capable?

We will judge the team by its action and not its words Grimsey.

I hope you're right, Grimesy, I'm driving over 1000 miles to see it live. No embarrassment, please.

I hope all the tw*ts who are going to this game get the 3 points.. a lunatic, each and every one of you

Only way west Brom will see the best of us is if they show our first half against them way back when, (when we started with no striker and were 3 nil up by half time and cruising,) on tv before the game

Massive statement that, words are cheap though.

Fair play, not our best performance but job done and deserved win.

Yes, and Grimes did play forward too. We mixed it up more and tried to be more positive. It felt a bit different. Need to take that into the next games now and not go back to sleepwalking robofootball.

Great win, not a great performance but a better one at least, we got to get out of the habit of passing back and forth in our own half though, everything comes to a standstill, any forward momentum we had stops stone dead, giving the opo plenty of opportunity to reassess and go again, Ntcham came on and made a massive difference to us which won us the game, through great goals by Piroe and Christie, Christie has to be kept in the summer.
