Matt Grimes, Captain of Coventry City.

I can see a few punters waiting for Grimes to get splinters on the bench or be left behind if Coventry win promotion, for the satisfaction of saying they knew our captain ex was not up to standard.

Sad.

If Coventry get promoted I will be happy for Matt. If he plays regularly in the Prem, and Coventry stay up, even better.

HAPPY.

clapper.

It's not sad.

It's literally what being a football fan is all about. Harbouring petty grudges and never forgiving or forgetting.

I still haven't forgiven Leeds for filing a bogus appeal just to stop us lifting the league one trophy in 2008 at home. I'll probably still be bitter about it in 20 years time.

If you're not being petty, pathetic and small minded about other clubs and players you ain't doing it properly.

It's Andy Robinson for me.

Glad we called his bluff when he tried to hold out signing a new deal with us waiting to see what division Leeds would be in the following season.

I never had strong feelings about Leeds either way before that season. I’ve hated them ever since. That 3-2 win at Christmas 2007 in the rain is one of my favourite games of all time.

TEN MEN. WE INLY HAD TEN MEN.

Celebrating promotion in Gillingham and the players behind an official EFL "We're going up" banner.
Next day the EFL couldn't confirm our promotion because of Leeds' appeal. The table published in Leeds' programme all season gave them the 15 points back.
We finished 16 points ahead of them which was sweet.
