• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Rumoured to be available for a minimal fee or possibly even on a free as his contract is up in the summer.

Yes or No?

I liked him, very intelligent player and one who covers a position/s we should be looking at.....winger or in the pocket.

Yes.
He looked good for us, even though he hadn’t played much and it was a brief stint in a different country and out of position.
Think there’s a lot more to him than what we saw and could work out for both parties if he’s looking to rebuild his career. Still young.

IMO it took him quite a while to get up to speed in our setup but he was definitely getting there and became a very useful and versatile part of the squad. If it makes financial sense, would definitely have him back.

Cost us a fortune, wasn't considered good enough to play his actual position, and was bang average in a completely new role out wide. Did his agent ship out a batch of rose-tinted glasses to every Swans fan after he left? Scrappy, worked hard, couldn't beat a man 1v1. An Austrian Ollie Cooper. There's far better out there.

No, a few tidy moments in a couple of games, does not maketh a player.

A bang average player who was playing in a bang average team. He rarely set the world alight, but cost us thousands.

Folk see and hear 'Bundesliga' and instantly attach a world class label to him.

Absolutely not.

We’ve already got Liam Walsh sucking up coin while laying on the physio table we don’t need any more.

Another player badly mismanaged by a manger who had no idea how to coach our front third.
Maybe LW could get a tune out of a talented player with top level professionalism and commitment.
