• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Everyone has a price. The ceiling for Darling shouldn’t be above £18k a week, £20k at an absolute push.

I doubt they will be in for our players.. I could see them raiding the relegated clubs and get in some prem journeymen
I could envision them going for Salech though
They will be one of the clubs with the celebrity pull and financial muscle to make a deal

Darling Goes To Wrexham = And he scores against us. Naughton who also joined Wrexham as an experienced head for 1 season, celebrates, while Cullen appluads slightly from Wrexham Sub Bench 😂😂😂. Maybe Fulton too 😜😜😜. It might happen 😂😂😂 and that is why we will all hate Wrexham next year when they get promoted 😜😜
I thought Wrexham might be an option for Darling. Everyone says they need Championship experience and Darling fits the bill perfectly, and they could offer him a huge chunk of change on a free.

Wrexham play dreadful footy.. he wouldn't enjoy that

He will enjoy the pay cheque at the expense of the fluid football.

Wrexham have had a strict wage cap at every level so be interesting to see what that cap is next season and what players will fit.

Birmingham is the obvious fit for Darling if he does leave. I really can't see him suiting a Parkinson side.

Been saying it since this whole issue with his contact arisen, he is leaving for Wrexham or Birmingham. If he was staying he would of commited now. He clearly is now waiting to see how Birmingham and Wrexham compete for him and then will weigh it up. We need to move on ASAP, and start getting new faces in. The guy clearly likes the spotlight more than we think. He didn't like it because we didn't give him a shiny presentation and now see the glits and glamour of Hollywood stars etc. Let him go, it's really that simple. He can be replaced.

I"d like him to stay, "To be honest, at the end of the day, when all's said and done... d'you know what I mean?". he will be like Downes, Rodon, Chico, Fernandez.........ex players and replaced. hes had enough time, ...now replace.
