Is anyone bothered if Darling leaves?.. 35k a week he's apparently holding out for.. let some other Championship outfit waste it on him.. like we wasted on a long list of average players on millions a year.. they don't want Premier League football, they're happy being slap bang in the middle.. because if they ever did somehow get promoted they'll be replaced.. the championship doesn't deserve multi million pound contracts.. it's poor, it's average, it's overrated and overpaid

At this level, it would be financial suicide to commit to those sort of wages.
Completely unrealistic.
Just a shame that we'll probably end up losing him on a free.

Two different questions, no he's not worth 35K a week & the owners should have sorted a new contract out or sold him in the summer.
Am I bothered if he goes? Yes because he's our best defender & we'll probably replace him with an inferior player.
