And as much as he’s been a great servant and I don’t want to diminish his contribution, professionalism and character at all…paying Kyle Naughton a million quid to play a handful of games a year is poor business, same for Allen.

As for Pedersen…was a bizarre signing from day 1 even without knowing what money he was on. This is just the cherry on top.

O Brien from rumours had to be paid well and be convinced to come to us. Either that was or is a parting gift that was good or not from Coleman we still don't really know. Pederson from memory has played hand full of times. I saw him sat with the other injured players/those not playing at the match the other day. He defo is laughing to the bank. I think come summer all or most will be addressed. Hopefully Fulton goes as well with 1 year left.

I’m fine with O’Brien getting what he’s getting as it’s a short term loan and his wages are largely offset by Grimes leaving and taking his top earner tag with him. He’s also a top player at this level and we’re getting some tangible benefit for the outlay.

I'd say it's a pretty decent wage for a player of his ability.

I agree, Same as Ollie Cooper, £1900 for an established squad member at this level is very low.

Agreed, it's more than likely a conservative estimate.

Leaking players salaries has to be some breach of GDPR.

I don't think he is good enough, regardless he is here and has been for some years now. I just cant see it being that low, That's lower league 1 money.
He signed a new contract in oct 2022 for 5 years, He was a first team regular then, so id imagine he'd be on more than that, if it was to be for 5 years.

Maybe the club offered him a take it or leave contract? It's nearly 100k per year for being a bang average footballer.

Either way it sounds like he needs a better agent.

Cooper is league 1 level at best and the sooner the majority of the fan base realise that, the better. He is our version of Jesse Lingard, people assume he is young and has potential. He should be in his prime, he fails to deliver when he is on the pitch.

If he was not "one of our own" he would have been shipped off ages ago and not given the easy ride he has been given. There needs to be a mentality change to a degree for players like him and Cullen. Both put effort in, no doubting that, but are they really the sort of quality we want in and around the starting 11 for years to come.....

If we'd signed Cooper and Cullen from Falkirk they'd be getting the same pelters as Fulton.

If be more than happy with Cooper if all we were using him to do was come on late in games to add some terrier energy. To snap at the heels of opposition players and close out games. He's good at that.

Sadly he's lacking everywhere else. He's not a #10 or a winger. He just hasn't got anything like the level of technical ability to be able to do that at this level.
