Interesting to see how Roberts gets on tonight for Burnley.
Left us for prem football, hardly ever got a look in with Dyche and now he is back in the Championship.

Often teams that come down from the Prem can be seen as strong favourites to bounce back, not sure I can see that with Burnley but a tough test against Hudderfield will say a lot about them.

Huddersfield had a decent turnover and still no real firepower.

If they'd had a Piroe/Obafemi last season they'd have gone up. Can see them at the other end this season tbh

I’d be suprised if Burnley didn’t win the league with the money spent and squad they have.

Burnley looking good. Hudds look terrible, or are being made to look terrible. Good goal.

Im surprised by how good/bad Burnley/Hudds look. Suspected Burnley would struggle. On the evidence of the 1st 20 mins that looks way off the mark.

Yeah this is my 2 cents so far too.
Burnley look really good and hungry, but how much of that is due to Huddersfield being bad or just making them look good?

Huddersfield getting booed off at half time in first game of the season

Burnley may regret not putting them away. Should be out of sight. It only takes one set piece. When you are that superior it’s easy to lose concentration.

How has bully boy Bellend got a job with Burnley? Hopefully Connor sticks the head on him one day 😂

Performances are probably a better guide for the season than tonight's result, but on that basis if anyone finishes above Burnley they'll at least be top 6 if not 2.

Like Sham, I thought they'd struggle this season but they've hit their straps straight away.

I seem to recall he was at Anderlecht with Kompany.

Didn’t know that, last I heard he was sacked from Cardiff.
