I’ve been away (health update)

Again I cannot express how touched I am by your well wishes each and every one of you.

I’m on a ward now and it’s a lot quieter than the last one. I’ve better meds which I am trialling and not been in pain since midday yesterday. I’ll be getting stronger background morphine based ones to go home with as well as oromorph.

I am so tired though. It takes it out of you, the limited menu is bland but in 2 weeks I’ll be smashing the pasta and pizza when my food pipe is widened. When this is all over I’ve promised myself the coldest beer imaginable. I can’t obviously right now as I’m
on meds.

My mantra for the next few months is eat eat eat and eat some more.

Ebo guv, positivity is one of the best non medical medicines. Not sure what to say but fingers crossed and hope you get good results from the chemo
