• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Are you telling us that lovely lady NHS nurses are no longer obliged to give lonely gents 'hand-shandies' on the ward any longer during a bed bath?

What hasn't the world come to.. !

Exactly, if anyone deserves a wee shuffle from matron whilst tucking into a plate of well earned and waited for food....Ebo, it's you buddy.

Well I had my stent put in on Tuesday and I’ve not stopped eating and drinking. I can also do those big thirst quencher gulps I’ve been longing for as well. Polished off a big plate of faggots and peas for lunch which was supertb.

The stent procedure could not have gone any better and I have to thank Dr Peter Neville for his amazing skills. He’s one of the most revered encologists in the UK.

I did have a set back on Thursday as a short tech med they trialled me on didn’t agree and I was in colossal pain for a few hours until I could get IV tramadol and gabapentin. I’ve settled a bit now and although still a weak and tired at times, I’m eating and shitting ok.

Keep on fighting Ebo, and think positive thoughts. Wishing you all the very best as you recover.

Can you get Tory Party bog rolls anywhere? Images of Boris and the Mogg imprinted? Should be made available on the NHS. Perhaps they are. Worth asking.
