Amazing what happens when you get the ball forward quickly and the oppositions defence is unorganised!!
You have to seriously question those who took Martin and Williams on - obviously no experience of football at all or worse being mesmerized by the possession gimmick. Matos already a breath of fresh air

I'm really not sure he's a 20-25 goal striker. Do agree we lack creativity though

If you look at the facts that we create very few good chances for Vipotnik, yet he's on double figures before Christmas, the natural inclination is to believe he could very easily score 20+ in a side that creates more.

On the flip side, I can remember two games where he has had multiple good chances to score, Plymouth home last season and Birmingham away this season. He failed to score in either game, although he was robbed by the linesman against Birmingham.

I think he could be with the right service. He does miss a few to be fair and he should have had another one against Stoke being put clean through twice.

Just looking at it this season though, he’s on 10 in all competitions and we’ve been one of the weaker teams in the league for attacking and chance creation. Put him in a more productive side and 20 is definitely achievable for him in my opinion.

See my post above - absolutely Ronald is getting blamed for his own performances.
If he was from Brynamman rather than Brazil he would have been benched long ago.
If he was from Brynamman, he would never have been signed.

Actually, I reckon local lads get cut more slack than any others. Now, if he was from Birmingham…

Particularly as he has far from played in every game. I can't be arsed to do the research - but I reckon he has started 5 games less than other strikers who are first choice week in and week out.
Expecting strikers to finish every chance is unrealistic - but I am willing to bet that his goals per 90 mins stat is up there with the very best in the league in a team that create amongst the fewest chances.

His minutes per goal compares quite favourably to most of the other names on the Championship top scorers list. It's not as if we get all that many penalties for him to pad his stats with either.
