• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Probably. F***er then came back with Rotherham and scored a hat trick.
I remember that Rotherham game - it was a crazy couple of weeks as we had a 4-3 as well. I didnt realise it was Gwyther who scored against us as I was about 11. I know he used to drink in the White Rose and wouldn't talk about the Swans anymore (that was about 20 years ago though)

I was far more disappointed when the likes of Ayew, Rodon, Piroe, Roberts, end of Guehi loan in recent times which says plenty about Mr Pivot.

Good player, served us well. But also held us back at times. And was a weak captain.

A captain who never had a song sung for him, says it all.

Barely a footballer let alone a legend.

More of a leg end.

Do you know what I’m looking forward to? Not seeing him hold his two arms in the air before he takes a corner or free kick only for it to not beat the first man.

Is he actually gone yet? Or are we holding out for 12.00pm tomorrow so he can't play sideways and backwards on Saturday
