I've heard

If we’ve signed any contract like that then Coleman and co have sunk to new depths of stupidity
Anyone that would buy us in our situation must be few shillings short.
Hes got more money than sense, unless his intentions are not dependent on us staying in the league.

100%.

If Coleman is foolish enough to run with this then all focus needs to shift onto Coleman.

Clearly Williams needs his bags packing but clearly it's more deep rooted than the manager if things like Skippy are suggesting are true.

And that comes with not having football people at the club to advise him what to do, absolutely madness if this is true, it’s basically saying Williams in unsackable at any point.

By saying that we can't afford to sack him is virtually saying that they want to sack him.

I do question the rumour mind, I think it's just old usernames trying to stir the pot under new or back up usernames. I get they are trying to get Williams out but they are making Coleman look far worse than he is(that is saying something aswell 🤣)

I was expecting some news this morning, it hasnt materialized, so I'm guessing we are stuck with LW for the long haul. 🤷‍♂️

If you want to ask a difficult question at the forum. "What is the motivation to buy a money losing machine that is a championship club with 12k (and falling) crowds and no parachute payments? "

Except if Montague had written in his contract that getting rid of the current manager will cost them his services and he actively put a figure in his contract.. my source is an ex-swan, and solid and knows who goes into board meetings
What? Are you suggesting that Lord Montague of Nottinghamshire has a clause in his contract which links any demise of Williams to a payout for him?

It's a very good question, Captain. "Why Swansea?"

I asked chat gpt why would someone buy Swansea City FC. Im going for No 6 in th elist of answers it gave.
  • Potential for Turnaround: Investors might see potential for turning the club around with better management, improved player performance, or increased commercial revenue.
  • Valuable Assets: Swansea City has valuable assets such as its stadium, training facilities, and brand. These assets can be leveraged for future revenue.
  • Market Position: Swansea City has a strong fan base and a history of competing in higher leagues. This market position can be attractive for investors looking to build on the club's legacy.
  • Broadcast Deals: The recent improved broadcast deal for the EFL could provide additional revenue, making the club more financially viable in the long term.
  • Strategic Synergies: An investor might see synergies with their existing businesses or other sports ventures that could reduce costs or increase revenue.
  • Tax Benefits: Accumulated losses can be used to offset future taxable income, providing a financial incentive.
  • Long-term Investment: Some investors might be looking at the long-term potential and are willing to invest now to reap benefits in the future.

I don't know what the answers to your questions are, don't shoot the messenger, apparently the ownership group have said they can't afford to sack him within the confines of the building/meeting room.. my guess? They've chucked all their eggs in the Montague basket.. if we get rid of Williams, Montague will follow, costing the club £s
Doesn’t that make the acquisition of Montague the most brainless act imaginable?

“We can’t afford to sack williams so we’ll hire his old boss to definitely ensure we can’t afford to sack either of them”??

Same source from the Notts DOF and new takeover.. we can't afford to sack Williams, I think Williams isn't in it 100%.. he wants us to pay him off a few million IMO.. a question for Tuesday, Are you 100% into this project, living in Newport for one
Surely he’s on no more than £250,000 a year? Can’t be half a million let alone a million.

I may maybe over simplifying this but with this new DoF, are we now essentially paying Notts County to scout players for us?

What happened to Cravatts analytical team?
