On a day when the EHRC - which let's remember is an independent body - published a scathing report about racism in the Labour Party, we instead are gossiping about Corbyn and Starmer. To its credit, the Labour party has emailed the Report to all of its members, including me. I'll download and read it tomorrow, but I'm not expecting to enjoy it. Jesus wept.

He was suspended by the General Secretary, not Starmer and he can have no-one to blame but himself for his ridiculous and offensive statement this morning.

Amplifying his criticism of the Israeli government and turning it into something else entirely.His statement today was bang on. Starmer is fucked.

Yesterday was about the release of a statutory investigation into antisemitism in the Labour Party and the Labour Party was found to have broken the law. What did yesterday have to do with Israel?

I don't disagree but if you look where the Tories came from in 2005 to forming a government in 2010, it's not inconceivable that the next government is some sort of coalition.

Monty's post above pretty much states the backing for Starmer. There were even posts on the other site by posters who are now on here gushing over his 'leadership'. He's a con man just like the rest.

When corbyn was up against Owen smith some young sounding woman phoned me up, asked me who was I voting for, I told her smith, she said I was wrong that Jeremy was the future if the party, that he was in touch with the young generation coming through
Told her even if I agreed with Cornyn about everything, which I didn't, I still couldn't vote for him because this is a very right wing country and he was so far left he could never win an election
Its still going to be hard with starmer Scotland has gone and labour need to take back the north and gain in the south to win, covid had changed everything so it's still possible in 5 years time
I think Labour and the liberals need to combine as one party to increase the chance of beating the Tories who have led this country to ruin

The biggest mistake the left and the far left always make is they assume they have the monopoly on morality and virtue. The socialist campaign group aren’t the only ones who care about hungry kids.

FYI there was no sabotage at the last election. The 2019 election was all on Corbyn and his team.
