• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

That's what Clare Short thought.

Don’t understand sorry.

It is what Clare Short got pelters from the laftest of left for saying that Labour had to win a cross section of voters (ie Middle England) while not concentrating on the traditional working class vote. She was right though.

He is not going to win the floating voter, especially those lower paid who like the sound of the right wing nonsense that the vile party stand for at the moment. Labour has to win the working man back, and Kier is not that man. I speak to numerous "site boys" daily, and I can't remember the last time any of them said that Labour was for them. Going onto a construction site in south Wales 20 years ago, and ask how many of them would vote for the vile party and you'd get laughed off the site.
Well, you know what they say. There's no cure for stupid.

Bodge tape mate.
Doesn't fix stupid but at least it muffles the sound

Personally.
We've tried every party

Tories rip you off and treat you like you're something they trod in
Labour increase taxes to rip you off big style. Oh and support war criminals (B.Liar)
Lib-Dems could they manage the country or would they just keep arguing- before ripping you off

Greens- fine with a dinner

Politicians are just self serving arsewipes, put on this planet to rip people off

May as well give Anarchy a try!!

Despite election-time promises, in the near-11 years since coming to power the UK Conservative party has increased taxes more often than it cut them and the tax burden is on the verge of hitting a 70-year-high.
The Tories are the party of the Stealth tax. The Gen Pub are blinded by decreases in the basic income tax rate without noticing what is actually going on.

It's the primary remit of every politician to rip off the general public
Otherwise they wouldn't have the "perks" they do
