• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Sheehan is gonna have to go on well hell of a run of wins and performances now to get the fan base to get back on side. He had these games to do that. It's just not gonna happen. What makes it worse is, I am bored and don't feel excited now when watching. That kills me. I'll take a loss here or there. As long as we showed signs.
Confidence was low in the first half, came out second half and forced it, Franco makes a terrible rushed pass, and it was a complete collapse, where players were walking by the 85th minute

The booing at half time and reactions he had at the final whistle wasn't a good sign.
Its a tough time for him and he needs a big turnaround or he is in big trouble.

Do you know what, this is actually a really good point.

The Sheehan Out brigade are not shy of telling all of us how the new owners have far more ambition and won't put up with so-called underachievement.

So, presumably, if the club do sack Sheehan that's where they'll be setting their sights, and they'll be happy to pay the big bucks for a tried and tested coach. And I trust the Sheehan Out brigade will be up in arms if they don't, and we end up with someone like Hellberg.
Bloody hell Andy, you are not a happy bunny tonight. We (as Swans fans) are trying to discuss an alternative to the shit that Sheehan (no fault of his due to not up to it) is giving us. Do you suggest that we stick with him? And if so, for who many more games?

That's exactly how I feel Swans 😞

😂 I'm not a happy bunny, but you've got anti-Sheehan types on another thread literally making up stuff about all not being well behind the scenes, because they can't wait for him to be sacked. Nice try 👍🏻

But that's my whole point. It could also get a damn sight worse. We are 7 points off relegation. It is still only November.

I get that the results haven't been great, and performances have been patchy, but the bordering on hate campaign to get him out of the job has been ridiculous imo. You could swear we'd come down from the PL with parachute cash, the way some people are acting.
No I get that. And I want to be optimistic. Am I on a witch hunt for Sheehan to go now? Maybe. But I also was one of only few on here when he was first considered for the role to give him benefit of the doubt when many ripped into him based on how nervous he was or bit off in his press conferences. So what does that make me? I'm not sure. But I think the argument about us being x amount of points off relegation is not the issue with me, and for some. Its not the points my issue, its the performances. Let's be real we have made nearly every poor to aversge team in this league look like Real Madrid. The passion and drive might be there from the players but it's clear as day the tactics and set up is not working. You just have to look at how he keeps changing his starting line up, poor subsitutions and sitting back on teams. The way we are going is relegation form. Again maybe we agree to disagree. I'm confident in your recent posts that you don't think much of this squad, I do. But time will tell I suppose 👍👍

Who says I'm anti-sheehan? What did I make up? You're having a mare tonight son, but you're posting history suggest you're a middle manager and retired years ago whilst in a job, because you're an average tw*t, with more front than Brian Clough without his achievements

😂😂😂 Why on god's earth you thought I was referring to you personally I don't know, but thanks, I guess, for that 😂

F*ck me, they're all out tonight on here 😂

I don't/never agree with making things up so understand. I feel that he is out of his depth (unfortunately) and we need a change.

It's certainly been hard work on here this evening.

I'm off for a chamomile tea before bed.
Indeed mate.

The best thing is, the angry anti Sheehan mob are probably going to get their wishes in a few weeks time, they're the majority by now. But it's like they've got blue balls or something 😂

Out of interest and this maybe a stupid question but how did the name of Hellberg get linked - he seems to be a constant name whenever there is managerial doubt in Swansea

Is he the managerial version of Marvin

Emnes?

If he was, wouldn't he be linked with Newport ?
;)

I’m guessing it was down to Adam Worth and Montague having links in Sweden his name came up.
