• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

A guy is saying on twitter that on Radio Wales News this morning they said there were a fraction of our supporters who booed.

I didn’t hear the news but if they actually said that the club should strongly complain.

A monstrous lie.

The best you can do is that there were mumblings on the concourse below and 1 moron whistled towards the end.

The fact you could hear either says enough.

I thought the minute’s silence was upheld by both sets of fans incredibly well. I, to be honest, was a little concerned about it beforehand hoping it would be observed but I heard nothing during the silence. This was from my position on the East stand (south end).
Well done everyone 👏

People are entitled to being disgruntled about this FARCE which is weeks and weeks of obsessive coverage of an old woman's death when some of us can't afford to feed our kids or heat our homes.

People booed around me last night. I don't blame them. It's not the booing of the queen, I'm sure its just booing the concept of having a Royal Family and all the nonsense which comes along with it.

OUT with the Royals and OUT with the Tories.

Well if we go by what Just Jack says, you're telling porkies. More than one person around you would have been audible all around the stadium if it was quiet enough that noise from the concourse was being heard in the stands during the minutes silence.

Not like you to talk shit Rog...

He might have been at Anfield.

Or at home.
