Only one player played every minute of Championship football for the Swans during the 2024-25 season; Lawrence Vigouroux.

Lawrence Vigouroux kept 14 clean sheets over the 2024-25 season. Only the keepers for the top three teams in the Championship (Michael Cooper, Illan Meslier and James Trafford) kept more.

I like your posts. They are detailed and informative.

How much did he cost us in the end? I can’t imagine it was much more than 500K.

Excellent keeper.

We were spoilt rotten when Fabianski was between the sticks for us.

He was a tough act to follow, and we’ve been scrambling around ever since to enlist a replacement that comes close to his level.

Now I’m not saying that Vigouroux is Fabianski 2.0, but I do feel that we’ve finally got someone who can only improve next season and, who knows, give Fab a good run for his money over time.

Is a good goalie.
Need a backup instead of Fisher.

Suppose we could have a traffic cone instead of Fisher.
Similar outcome

I'd put him on a par with DeVries. Decent on the floor, good shot stopper, reasonably capable under the high ball, although occasionally questionable as he was for one of Oxford's goals. Like DeVries I think we'd have to look for better if we got promoted (i think we'd have replaced him even if he hadn't buggered off), but for now he's a good choice.

Vig has been a really good signing & extending his contract now would be the sensible thing.
I've no problem keeping Fisher as cover on the bench, he's OK for that, but If any club makes a decent offer for him then take it.
