• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Funny that I was watching the game last night on Sky and he was the only Leeds player taking shots at goal for the majority of the game
Seriously? Here's his stats from the game. Doesn't make great reading.

Piroe's numbers vs QPR
Minutes played90
Touches47
Shots on target1
Duels won2/11
Possession lost12x
Stats by Sofascore

That doesn't count the shots off target or shots blocked.
In the first half in particular he was Leeds's main attacking threat

Piroe was a big threat (often the only threat) for us, but he's not a particularly good football player. If he's not scoring, he's too often a passenger, losing the ball easily and disappearing. Far too slow of thought, feet and legs for the PL.

What kind of people get kicks out of other people's failures.. Darran is correct, this forum is getting all nasty

I've bought a new 75" TV to watch the Premier league next season but its come with no leads...

Bastards Lon, this must have softened the blow though 😊

Even with play offs, PL etc, this is still the best football day of my life, just edging the day at Preston. Sun shining, few beers and Tosh, James, James, Curtis and Charles paired with Rajkovic, Latch and a half time pasty. Unbelievable for my little club in those days. Dreamland.

I agree, just shades Preston 😎

Finally after 54 years I've finally got over the cheating Leeds b@stards denying us a massive FA Cup giant killing. 😂😂

Our sarcastic "Guard of Honour" that day - for the bent officials and cheating Leeds b@stards!! 😂

Leeds are a massive underachieving club.

They have a population of 800K and that's not including the support they can draw from all over Yorkshire and the Humber.

Southampton has a smaller population than us but a solid support base in West Hampshire.

Looking at their debt and recent spending they will struggle next season to repeat this.
