• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What a miserable away end that is in the wind and rain. Still a temporary stand too!
I met Groo at Gillingham, (Old JA.net poster who went to live in Canada). 5 hrs on a train there, 3 hrs getting soaked and 5 hrs home all for a 1-0 defeat. They gave us those clingfilm hoodies to wear, which although they were totally useless, I thought was a nice touch.

I remember missing the start of the second half finishing off beer, loads wearing plastic sheets to keep the rain off :)

Thats it. I never put it together that you must be Groo.... Hope all is well.

Everyone loved Frankie Burrows ,
Who was there are Wembley for the
Autoglass Trophy led by Super by. J jonny Cornfoth ?
I was there. I'm pretty sure I've been to Wembley every time the Swans have played there including the league game against Spurs when they were using it one season for home matches.

And them waiting for us to get soaked before throwing is those useless ponchos. I think Trundle gave away the penalty for their goal.

Leo is playing in the middle. Coaches are clearly not emphasising the No10 role. Three central midfielders and they all have to defend and press as a unit. Seems to be working.

I saw Keith Lowe in Sainsburies the day after we won the Autoglass. He was shorter than I expected for a center half. Leon Knight lived in the same buidling as me at the time. (Altamar) I think there may have been a few Swansea players there.(Lowe included)
