Less entitlement and more encouragement

It's all about being right or wrong so middle ground doesn't exist then.

Criticism seems to be instantly taken as a negative rather than just pointing out a fact/view. It's the world we live in, people get upset far too easily and it seems the straight talkers who tell others "how it is" are the worse.
Nuance is so yesterday. Tribal is the new boy in town.

That was an extreme and an unfair headline to a post.
There will certainly be extremes and again it's a 2 way street, that can't be controlled.
It can be controlled if people give their heads a wobble before letting emotions take over.

There’s always a middle ground. We have a manager who appears to be a step up from the previous two, although frankly that wasn't hard to achieve. But Sheehan’s not going to deliver consistently sparkling, attacking football and anyone pretending that’s what they’re watching is equally as deluded as anyone who thinks we’re as tedious as we were under the previous two. At the moment we’re an average, mid table championship club with an average, mid table championship squad amid manager who will probably achieve an average, mid table finish. Its obviously fine to want more than that but not at the expense of a sense of realism about what’s achievable at the moment.

In short, we’re doing ok I reckon.

Agreed. It is fine right now and could go either way. But lets give it time to see which way it goes before everyone tears eachother apart. One thing is for certain, we are not a bad side and lets enjoy figuring out if we are great, good or just mediocre.

Hard not to take threads like "another gutless performance" as an instant negative.
Problem, in my opinion is we've attracted far too many snowflake "fans" that have only been used to the good times (lol).
Ooo look at me, I'm a big girls blouse type attention seekers 👚 💋

Same, wanting instant success, obsessed with stats, looking for issues that don't and have never existed.

They still think we're pushing top ten in the premier league singing the likes of Bony, Michu and the rest.

Our rise up the leagues didn't instantly start 8 games in to the season.

Those people won't see or even admit they are wrong and will then tell others that they are wrong.

You just have to understand the situation otherwise you just become like them. People like to tell people, people don't want to be told.

Writing players and a manager off at this stage of the season is absolutely wrong and those moaning about it constantly should be challenged.

These people only appear after a defeat, nowhere to be seen when the team wins or produces a decent performance.

Ive been around supporting the Swans since Harry Griffiths was manager.
I have no sense of entitlement......ive seen the bad times the good times ..seen us almist drop out if existence.
My belief is we are a top third sexond tier side whi should be competing in the cups with maybe a final.
would i like fo return to the PL yes but I dont believe we have a divine right or automatic pass.
I am critical of Sheehan .......mainly because.of his managment this season....his selections tactics and substitutions donr appear to get the best out of this squad.
Others on othher threads are discussing his team selection yesterday.
So im cditical if the manager .....but only because I rhink his decision making thia season is lettung him down.
I dont believe he will take us forwards.....we wont get relegated under him nor do I think we will achieve anything like a cup run or promotion.
Will I be dissapointed to finish in 10th ?
Not really as I will be glad of second tier football once more.....will our owners nbe happy thats another question?
Other opinions are available yes.....

Well, we've already achieved a cup run.

People are entitled to their opinion. People might see it early doors and be correct, they maybe proven wrong in time.....it's their right to have an opinion and even change it if they wish.
You don't like it, you don't have an entitlement to make them stop because you don't want to hear it.

People can be challenged if your view differs but there are ways to go about it.
