Now then rotation is another thing I disagree with you, yes others teams are playing the same games BUT coopers lack of rotation meant that the spine of the teams, etc say 8-10 players have been flogged which meant that the standard and intensity of the performances have dropped which explains why it caught up with us culminating in 4 straight defeats, others teams around us rotated consistently meaning their performances didn't drop as bad as ours.

Whether its coopers naivety or his lack of trust in his squad his lack of rotation has cost us a good chance of automatic promotion.
It can only be his naivety and stubbornness, although it also begs the question why pick players to sit on the bench and not use them ?
However, many of us have been watching football for a long time, back to when players didn't have the same access to keeping healthy etc, and the use of science as they do now. Many players played the bulk of the season then, didn't stop teams achieving.
Sorry but if a young man in his prime cant play three games of football in a week there is something wrong

The thing is they can but their performance for a team challenging for promotion to the PL won't be anywhere near enough and there lies the problem, coopers lack of rotation.

Cullen, Dhanda, Bidwell, Cabango will all have fresh legs for the play-offs and the icing on the cake will be that Ayew has an enforced rest. Every cloud Fireboy !

Yep, and all we need is to ‘rest’ Cooper and all except Ayew might even get some game time before we are 4-0 behind.

TBH your lot are probably pleased to be away from relegation and maybe a tad disappointed you couldn't maintain that form to get into the play offs.
We have been top six all season, and for much of that challenging for top two.
The change in fortunes for us over the last 15 or so games is very frustrating. The fact we could still make automatic shows what we would have achieved with a few wins here and there.
I understand our fans frustration, but some are just glass empty. Truth is considering our financial constraints we have done really well and could still get promoted whether through playoffs or automatic.
No pleasing some fans

Good post,
However what doesn’t please me is that we decided to go out and let the team at the bottom of the league score against us not once but twice in a game when we should be chomping at the bit to get right at em and looking at closing the gap right down on 2nd place. No time for sentiments and who has done a good job or not. Get that right on the pitch yesterday and we would have been laughing today. What a gift Luton gave us aswel. Jeez

I agree Sgorio, results like Saturday and the way we set up are incomprehensible really. That was the type of game we should have been using to try and better our goal difference and bolster our confidence.
It was made more frustrating as you point out by Luton's win, as you say

Fact, we have been in similar positions in the past and twice we have ended with a strong run to secure promotion to the top flight. Last year, we made a good push and achieved play offs. Of course, many circumstances are different now due to the passage of time and the inter relationships with history, past achievements and opinions. However, we are where, third, we will continue to be as grumpy as football fans can get for most of the time and hope, in most but recently not all so-called fans, that our team at least continues improving our moods and we do not fall into the trap of hoping to lose games in the support of personal and potentially misguided opinions.

Exactly, at the end of the day, we should all be hoping and wanting the same thing - promotion.
Any feelings towards owners, coaches, etc come secondary
