Lineker

The BEEB have seriously underestimated the solidarity by the majority of the football family. Different tribes, but more similar than most of us would like to admit.

I just read someone saying that everyone who works for the public sector is required to be impartial. I can’t even begin to elucidate how much of a brainlessly stupid statement that is.

40 or so years of gaslighting has led us here

How many other pundits will do the same I wonder? Would be genuinely hilarious if the BBC literally can't find anyone to be on the show tomorrow night.

Do we reckon Jason Mohammad would do it? Or is that a step too far even for him?

Obviously the BBC can't back down now, but imagine if Gary fecking Lineker was the thing that brought the whole thing tumbling.

Anyone who presents tomorrow will now be seen as a supporter of this insane anti immigration nonsense.

They’ll find it difficult to find someone to do that.

Plus there’s a lot of rumours that the production team and editors have refused to do the show.

So it may be Rees Mogg and Mad Nads talking for 90 minutes about football with no pictures.

Snigger.

He is not subject to the same guidelines as the news and current affairs people, was not speaking on the BBC and made it clear it was his personal view only.

The BBC have not got a leg to stand on.

Meanwhile, Fiona Bruce…

The BBC has just announced that the programme will go ahead “without studio presentation or punditry”. Basically everyone has blown them off. What a disastrous day for a once great institution.
