What have I done?

For what it’s worth, it is possible to think all of these things at the same time :
- Iran with nuclear weapons is a very bad thing to be avoided,
- women are horribly oppressed in Iran (as in most other Middle Eastern countries), many of whom are our ‘close allies’. (They are also oppressed in certain States in the USA btw).
- America bombing a country that posed no immediate threat to them (and possibly no medium term threat either) because they may pose a threat in the unspecified future and they don’t like them much is much the same argument as Russia invading Ukraine because they may pose a threat in the unspecified future and they don't like them much (the only difference being we are allies of America and not of Russia)
- No one knows what the outcome of this will be, including Trump, probably especially Trump as he’s not very bright,
- Even if it leads to a safer world long term it is likely to lead to a less safe world for quite some time,
- Whatever the eventual outcome it will be crappy for ordinary people somewhere and will make rich people even richer somewhere else,
- Darran doesn’t give a shit about the rights of women unless it suits his bias of the moment.
