• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Phenomenal tonight... brilliant running the channels and defensively superb.

Da Iawn!

a great player and can (will) cut it in the prem i think. Said it from day dot when the goals werent coming

Great effort in defence from him tonight.
Unfortunately his end product is his failing.
That shot he had after his skilfull run was terrible.

Yes agreed Richard, his workrate was great but as usual his first touch wasn't good but ateotd he was part of a plan that worked a treat.

4 3 3 worked perfectly stopping them pushing us too deep, which would have happened if we had played 5 3 2, well done cooper👏

Bit harsh, good run, took the right option & the defender gave him a nudge as he was taking the shot

I thought early on in the season that his end product could potentially be the difference in us getting the goals required for a top two push.

Performances like last night are as good a goal make no doubt about it. Unbelievable fighting, as did everyone.

Mad to believe he was a PE teacher just 3 years ago, been an absolute steal for us at 800K.

His work rate has never been in doubt. Games like last night just emphasise that.

Where he's struggled is in terms of confidence. When his tail is up he's very good in front of goal. Calm and capable of some bloody good finishing. When his head drops a bit that can go away quite quickly. It's almost as if he'd benefit as much from a sports psychologist as he would a coach.
