Luka Modric new minority owner?

The Swans should make a Netflix documentary about Modric’ foray into football ownership.

#BiggerThanWrexham
In truth I wouldn't be that suprised if there was something lined up like this, even if it's an Amazon Prime or something. His statement is to bring awareness and growth, and with ownership looking to bring more attention. Then why not.

This is Next Level and Beyond !

Luka Modric !
Lewis O'Brien,
Hannes Delcroix
Melker Widdell

Something special, Michelin starred is cooking in SA1 theses days

This now must cast some doubt on Sheehan as manager given how high our bar is being raised. In fact I would be disappointed if we opted for Sheehan at htis moment in time
I wouldn’t. You can’t argue with what Sheehans done. Don’t get me wrong I’m delighted that Modric is associated with us, but no details of his stake or motivation are yet known. He’s still a player at Real and is not a manager. Let’s wait and see. We still have games to play. Look what happened when Birmingham sacked their manager for a star

The question to ask has to be why? I mean, why would he do it, in the sense of what’s in it for him, that he couldn’t get in a similar way elsewhere. Is it just a low risk punt on a potential PL payout? If so there must be more likely candidates that would play ball, I mean, has he seen Ronald play?

Could we have a new player manager for next season…😉
Think ronald has come in for some unfair stick. Works his bollocks off. And since Sheehan has taken over has started to look threatening again. Causing havoc on the wing and putting some decent balls in

We're not doing a Birmingham though ?
We're cleverly leveraging a Global brand to boost our commercial pull, our player pull, our fans pull, and our managerial/staffing pull.
The synergies are massive
The bar has been raised several notches, and not arguing with Sheehan's achievements, his glass ceiling is too low for what we aspire to be.

I undertand both points. But at present maybe settling the ship that was sinking and building on that, having a positive year under Sheehan and if he moves on we can get a higher profile manager. Everything in stages. We all want glory now, but look what has happened to many clubs when we they took to much risk to early.

I understand those valid points. It’s hard to say what Sheehan’s ceiling is with the hand he has had to play. I’m chuffed with today’s news but let’s wait and see what the detail of Modric’s involvement is rather than assuming a stellar turnaround. I remember our signing of Sanchez and look how that ended. I’d be more excited if Modric was on the pitch. It has to be a positive thing but let’s not get carried away we still have over two years of negative accounts to deal with.

We all remember Sanches, but in his defence, Clement was a fckn idiot.

Looking - gift horse - mouth comes to mind

Club could quite clever here... get Modric introduced to the fans for the Oxford game there is your full stadium right there.
The possibilities are limitless. Seriously inspired move that not one of us would have dreamed possible. But here it is. The feel good factor just went off the scale. Imagine someone saying around January we’d turn turn into a high paced attacking unit in April and Luca Modric would join the ownership group. They’d have put them away!
