Really finding it hard to get excited about an appointment of a rookie from a mid table league 1 side, hopefully I'll be eating my words come January when we're 10 points clear at the top of the Championship.

That is never going to be the case this season, half the starting XI from last year will be gone and we will have a new manager trying some sort of a football playing side from the state Cooper was doing for the last two seasons.
A year of building and trying to get back to a half decent way of playing consolidating our position and then trying to build on it is what we need.

The general expectation is keeping us in the championship will be satisfactory , that's realistic, bit strange really when we were 90 mins from the premier league a few weeks ago, but things are different now and I just hope he doesn't get demonised , he looked the best choice to keep us up, some of the others in the frame would have got us relegated imo
