Unless the journalist, whose job it is to have access to the club, is lying through his teeth then yeah he said it. Also backs up what Moscow said on other site. We all have our opinion on it but I don’t think that guy is putting anything like that out in public unless that’s what was said, what would he get out of that?

Anyway we’re not in a position to be precious. The season is a week away and we haven’t got a manager. QPR’s assistant manager turned us down ffs. And Cooper preferred unemployment to staying here. We’re not exactly a prospect.

Don’t disagree with that at all either.

Fine post sir.

Not sure bout that buddy. After spending all summer looking to leave then being unsuccessful, pretty untenable that he could stay. Unemployment the only way.
Would any of us really have wanted him here after all that?

I’m still certain we wanted him gone aswell, but we waited to see if we could get compo which is fair enough.

That makes it all the more frustrating we are still without a manager a few days before season start.

I had already voiced the same last week when he seemed to be applying for every job under the sun. There is no way I would have wanted Cooper to stay after that

I didn’t say I wanted him here mind, I’m glad he’s gone. But it’s a fact that he left here with no job to go to, not for the want of trying on his part I agree.

Fact is that by the club’s own admission they knew Cooper was off two weeks before he left. Yet here we are a further two weeks on and with less than a week left before the first game of the season and still no manager in place. That’s rank incompetence by any standards.

And Mickey Adams left after 2 weeks 😀
