Matchday Experience Working Group (MEWG) – Update 9: January 2026

Is this "join the Trust" a joke or what.
The same lot who ignored what the membership voted for?

Worse than dimwit, shagger, beaky and the rest of the shower of shite who sold us to the fukawful yeehaas in the first place.
Screwed the supporters and screwed the future.
In my book, as badly as that b'stard Petty and silver shield treated our lovely, very annoying but addictive club.

Don't think if things go wrong again at the club, this Trust is going to be able to rally the ladies and gents who walked away from the Trust, after however many years membership, to re-join with them.
Don't see them being able to have bucket collections, sell shares, do a "Battle for Britton/ Save our Swans".type campaigns
And them totally ignoring the membership after a couple of years consultation, what will happen at the High Court, if things go totally titsup?
All for their day out in the directors box with a posh prawn sarnie.
At least Judas apparently got silver when he screwed someone over

Edit.
Sorry for the rant!

Brilliant post,absolutely spot on.

The location of the away fans can be an issue. Ideally we want them to have minimal impact with maximum impact on how home fans can turn the ground in to bit of a fortress, so yes it can make a difference where away fans are located inside a stadium

Indeed it's not a coincidence that home teams who can put away fans in corners actually do it and put home fans behind each goal. Derby Stoke Southampton the latest to do it and if the home team has a bowl stadium is easy to do. I guess access might be an issue for us. I'm sure if our NE fans were behind the goal and away fans in the NE corner this would make for a better atmosphere.

I think it's definitely worth the club having conversations about housing away fans somewhere else in the stadium. We're far too accommodating to other fans at the expense of our own.
