McBurnie or Langstaff

I've no idea on Langstaff but definitely don't want McBurnie back down here. The only winner if that happens is Wind St.
Still banged the goals in though, what if the man just needs his Wind Street to be at his best? There's no shame in that.

His career has nosedived since coming here. Do a bit of Googling. He's been in the headlines far more for off field misdemeanours than he has for anything he's done on a football pitch. Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole, bloke's clearly an idiot, we don't need people like him in the dressing room.

In fairness he would hardly be the first youngster suddenly thrust into the Premier League far from friends and family and with way more money than sense who had become his own worst enemy and he won't be the last.

On paper he had a decent season, 6 goals in 21 games for the worst team in the PL who only scored 35 goals in total. I didn't watch any Sheffield United games, so can't comment on his overall performance.

Scotland obviously done with him though, naming a Liverpool teenager who's barely played rather than recall Oli.

If we can't try to con someone into paying us a decent sum of money for Wood, then our sights will be set lower than the likes of Langstaff, never mind McBurnie. Getting shot of Yates will also be challenging.

There was someone foolish enough to buy Wood, problem was we turned the offer down.

Langstaff. He'd be hungrier to prove himself and further his ambitions. Not sure what McBurnie's motivations would be coming back here.

McBurnie will be 28 in a couple of weeks time so hardly past his sell-by date and has just finished a season in the prem where he made more than 20 appearances. Why would he join a mid-table Championship side?
He might not have much choice. He’s not PL quality.

Sheffield have signed Moore, surely means end of the road for McBurnie there.

McBurnie loves the club, but money talks and he would have to take from what I have seen something in the realm of a 70% or so pay cut compared to what he was on at Sheff Utd to fit into our wage structure.

I honestly don't buy in to this lovin with McBurnie.

He did ok with us, has too much baggage and take in to consideration Sheffield Utd released him along with lack of clubs chomping at the bit to sign him up.

In my opinion Mcburnie coming back would be the same scenario we have had with Joe Allen

Been injury prone last few years and is on his way down career wise rather than on his way up like he was when last with us

Would be the wrong move in my opinion
