• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Watched this the other night on the I player, absolutely brilliant! The way it covers hard to talk about subjects with ease, is just brilliant..

Yes, this was great. There are some nice shots of Swansea, a generous dollop of Russell T sentimentality, and 90 minutes of pure viewing pleasure. Recommended.

I’ve given it a swerve so far, as I thought it might be too hard a watch :D

(We’ll definitely watch it on catch up some time soon, as I’ve only heard good things about it).

You’re too soft.

I literally am to be honest, you may have noticed my posts over previous times, considering using cannabis to improve my libido, that never happened though. All jokes aside, it is a bit of head ferk, I suppose it's not the be all and end all, and watching that programme I suppose help is available..

Don't get me wrong, for me it's not really a big deal, but I'm glad that help is available if needed. I do miss the days of regular sexual antics though, I did put it down to maybe not fancying my missis anymore, but I would not like to experiment and cheat, just to find out if that really was the case.

Talking of beautiful shots of Swansea, in a few of the scenes, there were lovely shots with a view of the sea, for some reason I was 100% that it was Mount Pleasant, just with the inclines and roads and everything, and the last 5 mins or so, a side street name came up, after a google I found out, it was Mumbles, it's totally weird, because with the proximity of the sea in the film, I should have known better, but at the time everything screamed some hidden street in Mount Pleasant, I had not yet ventured down. :)

Have you ever considered that perhaps, the lack of regular sexual antics might be because your missis might not find you attractive anymore?
The older you get the more you appreciate what matters more.
In sickness and in health...

Why would I consider that? I know the problem is my end, How can I explain it to you as if you are an 18 year old imbecile, sorry mate, that is just a stupid remark to make, I have pretty much spelled it out, and you say that?

Shall I rewind it a little bit? I am baffled to be honest, how you perceived what I said to come to that conclusion,?

How on earth did you come up with that, say a close friend says to you, 'I can't get it up any more' would you really say, it's because the missis doesn't fancy you? Just WTAF

As you say, the problem is definitely your end.

Thank you, though I must say I do detect a little bit of facetious meaning in your answer. I am sorry If i read it wrong.

Should erectile dysfunction be ignored once you get past 50? I am mid 50's but I would not have a problem talking about it, it certainly does somewhat degrade your life when it happens. But what can you do? :)

Was just having bit of a laugh my friend. No offence intended.

Two lollipop sticks and an elastic band and the job’s a good ‘un.

Agreed on both counts.

I doubt there's another poster on here who would have posted what jack123 did if they found themselves in the same situation.
