• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Don't waste your time with Vodafone either. Had some signal at 1/2 time but that was it.
I’m with Talkmobile who use Vodafone signal, only times it’s slow for me is at halftime. Works well otherwise. Maybe it’s a phone issue?

thanks for the replies . I thought it was just me and was looking to buy another sim

They're pretty much all the same. Large number of people trying to access the internet in a concrete dome all at the same time.

My EE signal is better this season than it has been in the past, though.
I've been with EE for quite a while and it was always poor in the stadium but I'd have to agree it has been better the last couple of seasons.

It must be very difficult for people to spend 2 hours without the internet.
My thoughts exactly.
Check the teams, check the half time scores......couple of minutes, not enough time to be concerned if there is Internet or not.

Based on my experiences at gigs, sporting events, festivals and so on over the years, I did just assume that it was a given you wouldn't get phone signal at stadiums - particularly at half-time. But then WBA and Cov away both had perfectly working signal throughout the entire game, so there is something particularly off with the Swans. Morfa a black-hole of signal?

My signal is usually fine during the game but it's almost impossible to get a signal at half time, when everyone else is also using their phone

It's been a pleasant surprise to find out I can actually check the scores elsewhere during the game.

Between the Internet, general half time fayre and being held for 10 minutes to allow the Bristol youfs to depart after the game it does make the whole matchday experience somewhat shite
Yeah I didn’t get that.
Just keep the Wurzrels in for 20 mins or so, til the home fans clear. Simples!

Thing is Daz, even tho things picked up a bit, thers been serious lack of entertainment there for few years, coupled with same old half time nonsense. People just wanna spend 15/20 minute interval on there phones. Can't blame em.

Another 5 minutes and I think it would have been a bit messy.

Police were insisting it wasn't their decision too!
