Just been up there, it's unbelievable up there.. it's like a war zone.. it's too small.. it's under staffed and all they've done is put nice new covers on seats.. Eluned Morgan needs to do a shift up there one night just to see how f*cked up it is, people are literally on corridors on beds.. the staff are trying to work in a telephone box.. they need a bigger building and it was only a quiet day according to the staff.. absolute mental up there

It is one of the scariest places. A war zone is a good description. I look at the staff and wonder how the hell can they face that mayhem every single shift. My wife was blue lighted last year and it was an eye opener. I genuinely worry that either of us stand a good chance of going through that ordeal again considering our age and medical conditions.
Hope all is OK with you Penlan.

I was just a visitor.. it's too small.. you've got a humongous waiting area.. then go behind enemy lines and it's like working in a telephone box with beds everywhere.. the staff have probably got to follow strict guidelines.. how they manage i don't know

I’ve just had a ‘personal’ letter from Deform saying how they’ll fix the Welsh NHS by ‘eliminating waste’. Chancers and wankers.

Half of them loitering in A&E don't need to be there in the first place.

While back we were up there (sent by the doctor) and people had been waiting 18 hours, honestly if you can wait that long there can't be that much wrong with you.

Half them looked like regular repeat offenders.

There are serious problems in some GP surgeries in getting an appointment so people go to A&E instead.
Pharmacies are underused for minor ailments which then can prescribe for.
