That was not the point I was making, the point was how can the same people bring in the MPPU, to discourage people from drinking, and then their leader, goes and makes a statement saying don’t watch Netflix and stay in, go to the pub instead.

Google Ai reckons fuel costs to Bristol and back about 25-30 quid, obviously you would need a good few cases to make it worthwhile, but the savings after that will cover the fuel easily. Although there may be another option, I have noticed Amazon will deliver alcohol with no mppu.

I'd love to knock it on the head. It's such a stress-buster on the weekend though, for me, and something I look forward to through the week - plus a nice bit of food or a takeaway. I know that's not great, but once you're in that cycle it's difficult to get out of. I exercise regularly and generally look after myself, but I do look forward to opening that bottle of wine on a Saturday afternoon/evening.
