• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I watched Die Hard for the first time ever last night. I am still undecided if that is a Christmas movie or not.

Best line: ‘Welcome to de party pal!’

Heat is new to me, could very well be tonights viewing 👌🏻

Hi Blaze, did you watch Heat? If so, is that the best shoot out you've ever seen?

I fell asleep half way through and haven't had a chance to finish it. Funnily enough I was hoping to settle down with it tonight

I've really enjoyed what I've seen though - I just started watching it too late at night and I'm getting old now :D 👍🏻

It's not, but so many actual Christmas films are shit that I'm happy to say it is and actually get to watch a good film this time of year.

I mean, what actual good Christmas films are there? I can think of Elf, Bad Santa, The Muppets Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life for nostalgia purposes. I'll also throw in Christmas Chronicles but that's more to do with the happiness of enjoying it with my little boy last year. Some people say Gremlins, which is great, but that's in the Die Hard category of being set at Christmas, but not a Christmas film.

Von Ryans express, and thanks

You do realise you can watch Die Hard at any time of year in the same way you can watch any film at this time of year... ;)

That said we watched Die Hard for the first time in many years on Friday night, Die Hard 2 will get an airing sometime this week as well :)

Saw a film on sky movies yesterday called one way to Denmark
Stars rafe spal as a Welsh guy who figures life in a danish prison is better than living in Wales 😁

So he goes to Denmark to rob a bank
