Funny how teams can accommodate players like Yates now has a appreciation thread on the Derby forum and Mylo scoring for Hibs again.

Will we recoup any of that 3-4M outlay?

It’s all about tactics and set up. Derby play with a style that brings Yates into the game much more than when he was with us. It’s the same reason why Cullen is often isolated, the same reason why Vipotnik hasn’t had much of a sniff. Our final ball and general all round play in the top third of the pitch has been poor for some time.

Begs the question why we signed Vipotnik as he doesn’t look like a strikers who’s going to press and chase down.

I've had a season ticket for the last 3 seasons (starting with Martin's first season) and every single game has been the same, the defenders and Grimes finish the game with well over 100 touches and whoever is playing up front will be lucky to have more than 20.

The strikers usually have far fewer touches than the goalkeeper, which says a lot about where so much of our possession football takes place
