Sounds like there were a number of things were being discussed at once. Is there a link to a longer version of this please so we can work out just what was being said?

Mate, everything this prìck posts is bollox. This clip, I can't be bothered to watch it because it is somewhat edited to suit, is probably muck...however, this prìck posting doesn't complain about the treatment his daughter receives on possibly a regular basis...just ignore him, he's a fùcking idiot

It's possible. But it's also possible that the clip is an absolutely fair reflection of what was being said and if so, I'll be front of the queue to stick the boot in for personal reasons.
However, we have seen the media play this game with all sides, particularly with the right. This has moved us to live in a hyper polarised world so very complex subject matters, rules, regulations, topics and hours of discussion are condensed into out of context 10 second snapshots and tweets of less than 100 characters. The media feed this to everyone, get them hooked and we find ourselves in a place where people have zero attention span for nuance or detail and live in a world where the long detail is ignored in preference for the outrageous click bait 10 seconds. It does nothing but amplify the extremes and normalises the out of context and outrageous. I hate it. We can't live in a world where policy is communictaed via shite like twitter and tiktok.
However, I've tried searching for this particular interview and there is not a single other piece of it anywhere which raises red flags everywhere. Why is only this available and nothing else? Where did it come from?

Watching the context just makes it even more bizarre. In a fairly low key interview about the economic prospects of the north east he drops that in. Mad.
