• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It's like a River Island advert
Funny to see it shot in the Guildhall. I'm looking past the models wearing the kit and thinking 'I've had so many meetings in that room behind them...'

I don't buy football kits but think that one is pretty smart to be fair.

I’m not one for kits anymore but if that orange and blue one is real, I’ll be running down to Landore with my Go Henry card.
Not fussed on this one, reminds of losing to Treboeth in the Semi Final down the Morfa.

Go Henry 😂😂

Not a fan at all of the the new Swan logo on the away kit. Why change it? It's not as good as our traditional one. Cannot see why they did that.
I love it. Largely because it was the badge (or close to it) that was on the kit / programmes etc when I started watching the Swans in the mid 70s.

We do seem to be chopping and changing a bit though on the badge front. It’s odd having different badges home and away.

It’s supposed to be a ‘throw back’ kit, with a nod to the kit and badge of the late 70s: https://www.footballkitarchive.com/swansea-city-1979-80-third-kit/109546/

Or in other words, Americans trying to hard to understand history. It’s fine. The current badge would have been better, but otherwise the top is boring, but safe.

The badge looks to me like it's the winner of an under-5s competition to draw a swan. I love the minimalist current badge but this one adds nothing. The colour just looks boring to me. Maybe it'll look better first hand so hope they wear it on Saturday. And green shorts.....hmmmmm.

Me neither. In 20 years time, we’ll be looking back at this kit at a retro kit which gave homage to a retro badge. I’d rather we used ‘todays’ badge to define today’s club, rather than constantly looking back. Let’s move forward eh?

I like it, minimalist, retro. I also like the colour combination, haven’t bought a shirt since we were relegated but may be tempted by this one.

FFS , some of you should be buying Vogue the way you’re going on…sad as ….!!!
