I am all for people getting second chances, nobody is perfect after all.

However I agree with the sentiment of many of the commenters that the club shouldn't associate themselves with convicted fraudsters, especially those who showed such callous disregard for elderly pensioners and the way they ripped them off.

It surely won’t be the same person that the tweet referred to? That person was banned from being a company director until 2029.

And someone who is disqualified from being a company director, is also disqualified from ‘forming, marketing or running a company’.

Which surely suggests that it is a different person. Best not to assume it is the same person unless it is shown to be a fact.
