After all these years you’ve finally made me laugh. 😉

I was going to say Lidl or Aldi, but thought they're way beyond our hedge fund capabilities.. we are literally charity shop, bargain basement market stall, don't get me wrong, I love a charity shop and market stall, but it's not going to make millions.. if Martin does go, I think Rooney could be a shoe in, due to the DC United effect

I think people's expectations are going to have to be far more realistic than some of the suggestions. The idea that we'd get someone straight off the back of a Premier League job is lunacy, with where we're currently at off the field. We aren't going to be backed in the summer, we're going to lose at least two of our strongest players, and we're going to be in a position where our best bet in terms of replacing them will either be academy players, loan signing or freebies.

We're likely to only be in a position to bring in somebody that other clubs in our division haven't currently been willing to take a gamble on who hasn't had experience managing at this level or higher before.

You would hope the owners were already looking at potential candidates during the poor spell a couple months ago.

Just remember who is making the decision on who would replace RM. Let's not get our hopes up here.

Can't remember the last time both us and Cardiff were gaffer-less.
