    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Thank you though for all the memories

I reckon September 2019 was when it first came here. A load of us in work had diabolical flu ....fast forward a few months when hand sanitizer was introduced and social distancing.....no one absolutely no one had even a cold for well over a year. In fact over 2 years.
 
I think its 50/50 if he takes part, its going to be an interesting few days

My take on things is that rules are rules, he’s not complied with them so should be refused entry end of sports. There should be no exceptions for “super stars.”

I’ve seen people going on about him being mistreated and locked in a room at the airport for hours etc etc, what do they think happens here when people turn up without the correct entry requirements? Unless the issue can be resolved very quickly, its either immediate deportation or a detention centre pending the latter.

Australian politicians and Tennis Australia have seemingly misjudged this, State and Federal politicians are blaming each other and Tennis Australia have been extolling the thoroughness of the exemption process which has now been discredited. The public are bouncing and understandably so and politicians are now scrambling to make capital out of it.

Looks like he recently had covid , if others are being let in with exemptions for that reason then he is being discriminated against because he is high profile and the Australian PM has jumped on a bandwagon for political popularity before an election
