Wales were just pipped for a Gold in the cycling tandem event. Wales broke the games record, then a couple of Jocks just beat them on the last go.

It's a bit of a non event really, isn't it? Let's have a multi event sporting competition but only for ex colonies of Great Britain, FFS.

Great to see Johnson-Thompson getting her confidence back and smiling, plus the Welsh cycling medals and the bowls lad.

Seeing the exposure and support the paralympians get is magnificent too.

You're right, I'm republican minded, social democrat, not a fan of a union that was imposed on the celtic nations and still causes endless problems to this day. I hate the Tories and the corrupt and inefficient British political system that brings so much misery to ordinary people and so much wealth and power to toerags like Johnson and Rees Mogg.
I don't hate the country of my birth, just the state it has descended into, which is one of the reasons I left when I could. And don't talk about my personal circumstances, you know next to nothing about me
