• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Ominous silence from the club, anyone know if Williams has travelled to Netherlands?

Can we do a Where's Willy thread?

Maybe spot the two cocks driving through the Netherlands.

In fact the pair of cocks are still probably at the Avis hire desk reading the terms and conditions in detail passing it back and forth.

When I said Ominous silence, I was hoping the club would have called an immediate press conference to announce the search was on for a new manager. 🙄

Luke Williams' scouting trip to The Netherlands did not happen because the player he had been hoping to watch was not playing.
Swansea City boss Williams revealed last week that two visits to the continent to assess potential signings were planned this week.
Williams was due to watch a centre-back playing for a Dutch club on Sunday, but did not travel because word came through that the player in question would not be involved.
Wycombe's Joe Low is one of Swansea's defensive targets, but a deal for the Wales international looks unlikely this month with the two clubs so far unable to agree on his valuation.
Swansea have been linked with various others, including Aston Villa's Lamare Bogarde, Burnley's Hannes Delcroix and Osaze Urhoghide, who has had spells at Celtic, Sheffield Wednesday and AFC Wimbledon, but is currently playing in the French second tier for Amiens.
Wolves midfielder Luke Cundle (pictured above), who played for Swansea on loan in 2022-23, is thought to be on the Welsh club's list of attacking midfield targets this month, while Barnsley's Adam Phillips and Alex Gilbert, of Middlesbrough, have also been touted as potential signings.
However, there is little indication that Swansea are close to getting a deal over the line, meaning the same players who were humbled at Cardiff City on Saturday must go again against Sheffield United on Tuesday.
The Blades, by contrast, have sealed a loan deal for Ben Brereton Diaz in time for the Chile international forward to feature at Swansea.com Stadium.
As Luke Williams and his players lick their wounds after Cardiff, that is not the sort of transfer news they wanted to hear.
    🤔

Suggests someone has passed the info to BBC that it didn't happen and Luke didn't travel to Holland.

I’m assuming the player was Rodrigo Guth Brazilian 24 year old CB, funnily enough plays for Kristoffer Petersons team, I’m sure he would have given a glowing reference of his time here 🙄
