Only one solution

He's in "a world of pain" because he's painfully out of his depth and won't admit it.

It's very obvious that Grimes leaving has spooked him, which is ridiculous. Players come and go in football all the time, if you can't deal with things like that you shouldn't be a head coach at this club or any other club for that matter.

We needed a cool head and leadership yesterday - instead we got 5 defenders marking one forward and a gaping hole in midfield because of his tactics. What a tosser.

Mind you it did change to a four at times with Key playing wherever he wants because he's the reincarnation of Gareth Bale apparently.

Ronald barely touched the ball either because he was either at right back if Key was further forward and was having to move back then. But other times he was up front.

What a shambles.

Generally if your idea when you've lost your lynchpin in the centre of the park is to abandon the middle altogether then you're completely useless.

Coventry City were sat 20th, just two spots above Championship relegation when Frank Lampard took over.13 games later, they’re now only three points off the play-off spots

Oxford unbeaten in 9 games with Rowett in charge, a change is definitely needed here.

The way he set the team up yesterday was embarrassing, and what kind of message did it send to the players?

And he can shove his 'Actions' and 'Box Entries' up his arse. The only box entries he needs to be in charge of is loading up his UPS van

There was one point in the first half where Cullen dropped back into the "Grimes role" such was the shambles of what we were actually doing

It felt like one of those kids games you used to play at lunchtime in school where everyone played where they felt like it

Don't you just hate modern football speak.

I didn't mind 'low block' and 'pressing' so much, even though it was just defending deep and closing down in old money.

But box entries and the like can get in the sea. Pseudoscientific nonsense.

The difference there is mind that neither of them have got the incompetence of Andy Coleman making those appointments

We are more likely to try and poach the guy who is in charge of Huddersfield as the data tells us he is doing a good job

Ah yes I do recall and Fulton was... nowhere to be seen.

Of course we have limited options but the manager is a huge issue when he decided to go five at the back which means playing Tony Christie at centre back. An ageing right back that is not good enough for his actual position.

Then leaving Franco on his own with Key and Fulton roaming.

Ah yes Fulton. If its true that Plymouth want him, I am warming the engine ready

Been here a long time but very rarely been seen as any good

I've gone from saying we play chess football
Then robotic football
Lately I have made the comment that it is schoolboy football.

It's gone way beyond farcical, with how things are happening.

Can't call it tactics, style or set up.

Players must still take individual personal pride in some of the things they do.

No hint or glimmer of anything changing soon.

Cullen dropped deeper and deeper as the game went on, desperately hoping for a few touches of the ball.

There's much talk Clive that Wiliams has "lost the dressing room" and that "the players dont want to play for him" and whenever I read statements like this fans should remember that the players are paid (Handsomely) to play for the club they represent and if they dont want to play for the manager that club employs then we shouldn't pay them for it

Our players pretty much have zero pride in what they do - most are mercenaries here until the next best offer comes along and most are only here because nobody else wants them (or more to the point nobody else will pay them what we are despite our low wages)

If we all had the chance to sweep it clean totally how many of our squad would we genuinely keep

Vig, Key Tymon (just), Cabango, Franco. Those are the only possible starters for me. Cullen, Cooper and Vip on bench. I'm ignoring youth btw.

My thoughts as well

I did post a few days ago that at the end of a season there was always one of two players I really wanted to keep.

Now nothing, one of two could improve with better players around them but that's not going to happen in the near future.
We've seen bad times before, and could be explained, but we have so many players now that can't do the very basics to be classed as professional footballers at the level.
It really is disheartening.
